This email is being sent on behalf of Dr. Chris Kirkey, Director/Center for
the Study of Canada   & Institute on Quebec Studies at SUNY Plattsburgh:

Dear Colleagues:

I am very pleased to bring to your attention an announcement/call for
papers for the March 12-13, 2021 SUNY Plattsburgh Institute on Quebec
Studies-Bishop's University Eastern Townships Resource Centre
faculty-student colloquium on Quebec (kindly click on the below link for
additional information). We encourage you to submit a proposal for the 9th
annual colloquium, convened on the campus of Bishop's in Lennoxville,
Quebec, and to identify undergraduate and graduate students who would be
interested in joining us in a collegial, welcoming, and supportive academic
environment.

Our Institute on Quebec Studies underwrites all transportation, meal, and
lodging expenses for this initiative.

Do know that the organizers of the colloquium acknowledge and continue to
monitor the challenges and uncertainties surrounding the course of the
COVID-19 pandemic. We recognize the fact that many universities have
prohibited all professional travel, and of course many countries (including
Canada and the United States) are restricting non-essential entry. Since we
do not know how long this crisis and the resultant federal, provincial,
state and local policies will last, we may have to proceed with scheduling
changes. Please be aware that the colloquium will, if necessary, move to a
virtual or remote conferencing platform. Rest assured we will keep all
participants informed of any program adjustments.
