On April 20, 2020, the United States Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC) issued a Warning Level 3, Global COVID-19 Pandemic
Notice recommending that travelers avoid all nonessential international
travel. The CDC has not lowered this warning level.
Due to the uncertain future trajectory of the pandemic, and prioritizing
the health and safety of our students, the decision has been made that all
study abroad programs will remain suspended through the spring
2021 semester. This decision applies to all students on
Plattsburgh-administered programs and Plattsburgh students on other
SUNY-administered programs.
The Global Education Office (GEO) will continue to monitor and assess all
future study abroad programs.
