Drescher Leave Awards Fall 2021

NYS Joint Labor Management Committee has announced the intent to fund a Dr.
Nuala McGann Drescher Diversity and Inclusion Leave Program in Fall 2021!

This program is intended to enhance employment opportunities for people in
the Professional Services Negotiating Unit (08), who are preparing for
permanent or continuing appointments with preference given to minorities,
women, employees with disabilities, or an employee with military status.
This program provides a fully paid leave for at least one semester.
Applicants must commit to returning to campus after the leave for a minimum
of one year.



The internal deadlines will be as follows:



October 5, 2020 (Monday) – Issue call for applications.   Please contact
Sponsored Research at X2155 or email: wemettme at plattsburgh.edu  for an
internal application.

October 23, 2020 (Friday) – Final internal applications due Office of
Sponsored Research and Programs.

November 2, 2020 (Monday) – November 24, 2020 (Tuesday) – Institutional
review of proposals.

December 11, 2020 (Friday) – Notification of campus level results.

TBD - State-level proposal mailed by SRO

February 1, 2021 – Statewide/JLM Deadline
