2020 SUNY PLATTSBURGH SEFA CAMPAIGN - TESTIMONIES

Greetings!

We are presently in the fifth week of our "2020 SUNY Plattsburgh SEFA
Campaign" and are a little over halfway to our goal of $40,000.00.

In this email, we share testimonies from a few of our esteemed colleagues
who truly believe in the work of SEFA  We ask that you thoughtfully read
their wonderful words of encouragement, and invite you to feel free to
reach-out if you should have any questions on this content:

"I believe SEFA is important because there are people in this world--even
in this region-- who are suffering, in pain, and need help to get by. I
think it's the responsibility of those who "have" to help those who "have
not".

" SEFA allows me to very easily contribute funding to organizations doing
work that I care deeply about. I love knowing that I am helping support
local efforts to improve children's health and educational opportunities
and services for women and families in need. Growing up without important
resources that could have helped me has influenced my commitment to *share
what I can spare*. Doing that as part of the Plattsburgh community adds a
special good feeling when I see all our collected contributions added
together. It makes me even more proud to be part of this college. Please
join me and so many others as we strive to make a difference in our
communities"
