[Important Information for Students] Phishing Scam Alert - Claiming to be from Bankmobile

Good morning,

We have an active phishing scam that is going around this morning claiming
to be from Bankmobile. The message may appear legitimate because its coming
from a @plattsburgh.edu account. *The message is not real.* We don't ask
for this information over email and never will. Unfortunately the
account(s) these messages are coming from are likely compromised.

*Please DO NOT RESPOND or fill out the form that is linked in the message
(or any other messages that you receive requesting this information)!*

If you do, you are assisting the bad actor in compromising your account. If
you receive random, unsolicited, text messages asking for DUO passcodes or
other information, don't provide it.

Please review all of your messages carefully and with extra scrutiny at
this time. We are always heavily targeted the week before classes start.

If you have provided any personal information as part of this latest
phishing attempt, please contact the helpdesk for further instructions.
