[Important Information for Students] Subject: Update: Campus Heating System #5

Dear Campus Community,

As we continue addressing the high-temperature hot water (HTHW) issue, I
want to provide an update on Yokum Hall and our progress toward a solution.

Wilkins Mechanical in coordination with Maintenance and Operations
continues to make steady progress toward restoring full heat to Yokum Hall.
Yokum Hall will be unavailable for most classes for up to the first three
weeks of the semester. Maintenance and Operations estimates that
full-building heating will be restored by mid-February, allowing the
building to return to regular use through the remainder of the semester.

The Provost’s Office has reached out to faculty with detailed information
about temporary classroom reassignments and alternate office or work
arrangements. Faculty, staff, and students directly impacted by these
changes have been provided with the necessary details to help them navigate
the temporary adjustments.

We understand that this situation affects many areas of campus, and we
sincerely appreciate your patience and flexibility as we work through these
challenges. Further updates will be shared as progress is made.
