[Important Information for Students] Update: Campus Heating System #2

Dear Campus Community,

I write with the latest developments regarding the high-temperature hot
water (HTHW) system issue. Our facilities team has been working diligently
and has identified the source of the leak as the return line from Yokum
Hall.

Throughout today, we will focus on re-energizing heat to the other Zone 2
buildings. Unfortunately, Yokum Hall will remain without heat for the next
few days. While we are doing everything possible to prevent frozen pipes in
the building, a pipe burst remains a possibility.

Should that situation occur, we will communicate directly with Yokum
personnel to provide specific information and instructions, especially if
this matter extends beyond Monday. Additionally, we are closely monitoring
IT services and equipment in Yokum to ensure that they remain protected.

resolve this issue.
