As the fall semester comes to a close, it is important to do all you can to
finish up successfully. Here are a few tips:

   -

Don’t give up if you are struggling in a course. Turn in your
assignments, talk to your professor, attend classes and exams. Earning some
points towards your grade is better than no points!
   -

Attend review sessions and use other academic resources. Attend the Long
Night Against Procrastination on Wednesday December 6 from 6 pm to
10 pm. RSVP
   on Cardinal Link
   <https://campusgroups.plattsburgh.edu/learn/rsvp_boot?id=388503> for the
   free breakfast bar!
   -

Seek the support of friends, family, advisors, counselors and others in
your network. Find positive ways to manage your stress.
   -

   Request Help
   <https://plattsburgh.starfishsolutions.com/starfish-ops/dl/student/request-help.html>
through Cardinal Star if you aren’t sure where to turn. Use the “I need
help with an academic, personal, or general question” flag and we will send
your concern to someone who can help.

If you need help with health and well-being issues, please contact the Student
Health and Counseling Center at 518-564-2187
<https://www.plattsburgh.edu/plattslife/health-safety/health-counseling-center/counseling-services.html>.
You can directly access free counseling services through the Student
Assistance Program by calling or texting 1-800-327-2251.

We wish you the best.
