[Important Information for Students] STUDENT VEHICLE REGISTRATION FOR THE NEW ACADEMIC YEAR

Student vehicle registrations are due in August for the new academic year
to ensure that a parking tag is ready to claim on move-in weekend.  All
vehicles must display a hang tag at the start of the session.

To register for a parking hang tag, complete these steps:
*STEP 1:  Register a vehicle* asap in August at least 48 hours prior to
arrival.

   - On-campus students that will be living in residence halls are
   encouraged to finalize housing assignments before registering a vehicle to
   minimize tag errors.
   - Students that arrive prior to move-in weekend may park pre-registered
   vehicles *only* in designated student lots, without a hang tag, until
   their tag can be claimed at the Angell College Center on move-in
   weekend.

*STEP 2:  **Pay the two parking fees* in tuition by including the registration
fee and parking fee and accepting the charges at the bottom of the optional
fees list.

   - Only students that do *not* park on campus must remove both parking
   fees from tuition when finalizing bills to avoid forfeiture of the fees
   after Week #1.
   - *Online only* students that plan to utilize campus parking must add
   parking fees to their bill in an email request to SFS <goog_314891740>
   @plattsburgh.edu.  Parking fees are not automatically billed to online
   only students.
