[Important Information for Students] Dec. 14, 2024 Commencement Updates

Dear Winter 2024 Graduates,

We are looking forward to honoring you at the 2024 winter commencement
event on Saturday, December 14 at 10:00 a.m. in the SUNY Plattsburgh Field
House gymnasium.

A few items of note:


   -

   Tickets: Tickets are not required for this ceremony.

   -

   Regalia Ordering: Regalia can be ordered online at The Bookstore
   <https://www.bkstr.com/sunyplattsburghstore/shop/graduation>. It is
   recommended that you place your order as soon as possible to ensure that it
   is available on time.

   Student Speakers: As is tradition, the Honors Council selects student
   speakers to address their classmates as the featured speaker at the
   commencement ceremony. Thank you to all who submitted draft speeches by the
   November 8 deadline. All drafts will be reviewed and decisions will be made
   in the coming weeks. For any additional questions about student speakers,
   please refer to the Be a Student Speaker section of the commencement

   or contact Dr. Tracie Guzzio, professor of English and director of the
