[Important Information for Students] Reminder: Winter 2024 Graduates

Dear Winter 2024 Graduates,

We are looking forward to honoring you at the 2024 winter commencement
event on Saturday, December 14 at 10:00 a.m. in the SUNY Plattsburgh Field
House gymnasium.

A few items of note:


   -

   Tickets: Tickets are not required for this ceremony.

   -

   Regalia Ordering: Regalia can be ordered online at The Bookstore
   <https://www.bkstr.com/sunyplattsburghstore/shop/graduation>. It is
   recommended that you place your order as soon as possible to ensure that it
   is available on time.



   -

   Student Speakers: As is tradition, the Honors Council selects student
   speakers to address their classmates as the featured speaker at the
   commencement ceremonies. If you are interested in speaking, please read the
   guidelines and check GPA requirements online at
   plattsburgh.edu/commencement and send an email by Monday, Nov. 4  with
   your intent to Christine Landry at goke1931 at plattsburgh.edu.  For any
   questions about student speakers, please contact Dr. Tracie Guzzio,
   professor of English and director of the Honors Program, at
   guzziotc at plattsburgh.edu or 518-564-3075.

   Livestream of Event: The event will be available via livestream from the
   university website homepage at plattsburgh.edu. Recordings will also be
   posted online.
