Your advisor is central to your academic support network.

Early in the semester is a great time to connect with your academic advisor
if you have not already done so–even if it is just to introduce yourself.
They are here to support your success. Your advisor can:

   -

   help you understand degree requirements, plan ahead, and track your
   progress
   -

   recommend college services and resources you might be looking for, and
   -

   suggest opportunities to make the most of your Cardinal education.


Locate and get to know your academic advisor.

Your advisor’s name and contact information are listed on the “Students”
tab in your MyPlattsburgh portal. You will also find your academic advisor
and any support advisors listed on your Degree Works audit report. Send
your advisor an email and learn how to schedule a time to meet soon.
