[Important Information for Students] STUDENT PARKING REGISTRATION FOR SPRING 2024

If you plan to utilize parking at SUNY Plattsburgh for the spring session,
pre-register your vehicle asap, and no later than 72 hours prior to the
session start, to ensure that a tag is ready upon arrival. (This message
does not apply to SUNY Adirondack students.)

*Register a vehicle:*  Login to MyPlattsburgh <http://my.plattsburgh.edu/>,
click STUDENTS tab to AUTOMOBILE REGISTRATION.

   - First time registrants ADD A VEHICLE and CONFIRM.
   - Fall session tag holders, where applicable, ADD A VEHICLE, CONFIRM,
   UPDATE or REMOVE.

*Pay the parking fees:  *Login to MyPlattsburgh <http://my.plattsburgh.edu/>,
click STUDENTS tab to MY ACCOUNTS (under Student Accounts,) click TERM,
then ACKNOWLEDGMENT, add fees under TUITION BILL ADJUSTMENTS, and click UPDATE
CHARGES.

   - First time registrants pay PR *and* PK.
   - Fall session tag holders pay PK only.

*Display your hang tag on the vehicle rear view mirror as proof of
registration and follow compliance guidelines:*

   - First time registrants claim tags from UPD upon arrival for spring
   session (verify tag assignment prior to claiming*) and follow hang tag
   display guidelines.
   - Fall session tag holders will use the *same* hang tag for spring
   session.

*To verify tag assignment, return to the AUTOMOBILE REGISTRATION page (STEP
1) and the CURRENT TAG # will be displayed 48 hours after registering. If
there is no tag, verify that you added PR *and* PK in tuition, and
registered a vehicle.

   - *Students, without vehicles*, are required to remove the optional
   parking fees from tuition *before* accepting charges, or forfeit these
   fees after the first week of the session.


   - *No permit visible tickets received in January* will be expunged,
providing
   a vehicle is pre-registered *AND* legally parked,
