Dear Cardinals,

We hope that you are enjoying your final few weeks of winter break. We also
understand that you have many questions about campus reopening guidelines
and what to do before you arrive on campus.

We have recently updated the COVID-19 Campus Updates page
<https://www.plattsburgh.edu/covid-19/index.html> to reflect current
expectations and steps you must take before you return.

*Students returning to campus or attending courses on campus for the Spring
2022 semester are required to be tested for COVID-19 before arrival on
campus.*

The following tests are acceptable:

   - Negative PCR test within 72 hours of initial arrival on campus.
Find a testing
   site <https://coronavirus.health.ny.gov/covid-19-testing> near you
   - Negative rapid antigen test taken at a physician’s office or pharmacy
   within 6 hours of arrival on campus
   - Negative at-home rapid antigen test within 6 hours of arrival on campus
      - Test must be FDA-approved
      <https://www.fda.gov/medical-devices/coronavirus-disease-2019-covid-19-emergency-use-authorizations-medical-devices/in-vitro-diagnostics-euas-antigen-diagnostic-tests-sars-cov-2>
      - You must upload 1 photo containing both the negative test result
      and your photo id (i.e. campus id, driver’s license, passport)
      - Free at-home tests can be ordered here <https://www.covidtests.gov/>
   - A positive COVID test within the past 90 days.

If your pre-semester PCR or antigen test is positive, please stay home and
follow current isolation guidelines until your symptoms are improving and
your isolation period ends. Contact Student Health if you have any
questions about these guidelines: healthcenter at plattsburgh.edu

Submit ALL negative and positive test results here
<https://machform.plattsburgh.edu/view.php?id=375778>

Please continue to follow the COVID-19 Campus Updates page
<https://www.plattsburgh.edu/covid-19/index.html> for ongoing updates.

We look forward to seeing you soon, for a safe and healthy Spring 2022
semester!
