All students, whether parking on campus, or not, are required to either opt
in (accept) or opt out (remove) two parking fees included in every
student's tuition
bill, or forfeit the fees.

*To Opt Out... *
Login to MyPlattsburgh <https://banner.plattsburgh.edu/pls/prod/portal.home>
 (STUDENTS to MY ACCOUNTS) to access your tuition bill, remove two parking
fees (PR & PK), and confirm enrollment. Note: If you failed to remove these
parking fees prior to confirming enrollment, you are allowed five business
days after confirming enrollment to request a credit from
parking at plattsburgh.edu. Be sure to indicate that "you failed to remove the
fees and you already confirmed enrollment."  After the grace period these
fees are forfeited.

tag is ready upon arrival. Refer to the Vehicle Registration & Hang Tags

   - Register a Vehicle in August at least 48 hours prior to arrival. (
   MyPlattsburgh <https://banner.plattsburgh.edu/pls/prod/portal.home> to
   STUDENTS to AUTOMOBILE REGISTRATION)
   - Accept parking fees (PR & PK) in tuition and confirm enrollment. (
   MyPlattsburgh <https://banner.plattsburgh.edu/pls/prod/portal.home> to
   STUDENTS to MY ACCOUNTS)
   - Verify your tag assignment before attempting to pick it
   up. (STUDENTS to AUTOMOBILE REGISTRATION)  If you see no tag assigned on
   your registration screen, ensure that your vehicle is active, and that you
   accepted the fees in tuition before contacting parking at plattsburgh.edu to
   report an issue.
   - Properly display your Hang Tag
   <https://www.plattsburgh.edu/about/directions/parking/hang-tags.html> by
   session start, August 30. Note: Upon pre-registering, tickets for 'no
   permit visible' on legally parked vehicles will be expunged through August
   30. Hang tags are disbursed from *Angell College Center, 9a-12p,
*Aug 27-*Sep
   1 *(except Sunday.)
