[Important Information for Students] A Personal Message from Our Chancellor

Dear Students,



Because of COVID-19, this has been a difficult time, not only in colleges
and universities, but in daily life. To reopen our campuses to in-person
instruction and services during a pandemic required adapting, and we fully
recognize that this semester for many of you required some adjustments,
most notably on the mode of instruction. As the semester begins to wind
down, please know that we are committed and working tirelessly to ensure
that your health and safety remains our top priority.



COVID-19 in many ways requires us to be more vigilant and self-aware, but
also simultaneously remain focused enough to achieve our academic and
career aspirations. And to that end, I need your help.



We want to hear from you, so we developed a survey so we can get your
feedback and improve. Given you’re busy with coursework, we’ve designed the
survey (https://suny.edu/survey/take/satisfactionandplans) to be completed
in less than 5 minutes. We want to understand what your experience is like
this semester. We also want to know what plans and concerns you have for
the spring semester 2021.



Our goal in this regard is clear, and unequivocal - your voice matters.
