Campus Building Cooling Systems Update

Dear Campus Community,

As we enter the season of sunshine and warmer temperatures, we’d like to
provide an update on the status of our campus cooling systems.

Cooling systems are currently operational in the following buildings:

   -

   Kehoe, Yokum, Myers, Memorial, Saranac, Hudson Main, Sibley, Feinberg,
   and Ausable.

The following buildings are not fully operational, and here is the status
of each:

   -

   Hawkins - Experiencing a gasket leak, which our team is currently in the
   process of procuring a vendor to repair.  In the meantime, our team is
   exploring solutions to reduce downtime.
   -

   Hudson Annex – The system is on, but repairs are needed for circuit 2.
   -

   Clinton Dining Hall – Experiencing pump VFD issues, which our Central
   Heating Plant team is actively addressing.
   -

   Beaumont – The system is being energized today by Central Heating Plant
   staff.
   -

   Angell College Center – A new motor is required, with delivery
   anticipated by June 16. Our team is also exploring alternative solutions
   to minimize system downtime.

all systems fully online.
