Dear Campus Community,
The college recorded one new positive student COVID-19 case on Saturday.
The case was one of two total positive samples from among the 594 pooled
surveillance testing samples taken earlier this week. The other positive
was the student recorded yesterday.
Over the past 14 days, three total cases have been recorded. Based on state
travel regulations or public health guidance, 12 students are in quarantine.
Campus pooled surveillance testing will be held beginning Monday for
students and employees. The full campus community will be tested each week
all semester as on-campus classes resume on Monday, Feb. 15.
We respect the privacy of those in isolation and quarantine and will
support them. If you are aware, please also respect their privacy.
We encourage you to take steps daily to ensure the safety for you and all
around you. Wear a mask, practice social distancing, wash your hands, avoid
large social gatherings, and stay home when sick.
Dr. Alexander Enyedi
President
