[Important Information for Employees] 2025 Main Campus Annual Security and Fire Safety Report

At SUNY Plattsburgh, we are committed to working together to ensure the
safety and security of our entire campus community.   This commitment is
reflected in our Annual Security Report (ASR), which provides transparency
and accountability in sharing campus safety information.



The ASR contains crime statistics for the previous three calendar years
about reported crimes occurring: on campus; in certain off-campus buildings
or property owned or controlled by SUNY Plattsburgh; and on public property
within or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus.


The Annual Security Report (ASR) also includes important information about
campus security, personal safety, and fire safety. Inside, you’ll find
details on the role of the University Police Department, emergency response
and crime reporting, sexual assault prevention, the campus escort service,
residence hall and residence life safety, personal responsibility, drug and
alcohol policies, fire safety policies and statistics, and how to access
registered sex offender information related to SUNY Plattsburgh.
