[Important Information for Employees] May 2025 Commencement: Volunteer Support and Event Information

Dear Campus Community,

Spring Commencement for the Class of 2025 will take place on Saturday, May
17, 2025, in the Field House gymnasium on the main campus.

Event Details

The University will host three in-person ceremonies, each lasting
approximately 90 minutes.

   -

   9:00 a.m. – School of Arts and Sciences
   -

   12:00 p.m. – School of Business and Economics
   -

   3:00 p.m. – School of Education, Health, and Human Services

Volunteer Support Needed

Volunteers are needed to assist with essential duties, including guest
check-in, ushering, and general event support for one, two, or all three
ceremonies. Your participation is greatly appreciated and helps ensure that
our graduates and their guests enjoy a well organized and memorable
experience.

If you are available to volunteer, please email Cherice at
grangecg at plattsburgh.edu at your earliest convenience.
Faculty and Staff Participation

Teaching faculty and professional staff are welcome to attend any ceremony
in academic regalia, and do not require a ticket. Please plan to arrive at
least 30 minutes prior to any ceremony in which you plan to participate.
