[Important Information for Employees] Update: Campus Heating System #6

Dear Campus Community,

I’m writing to provide you with the latest updates on the high-temperature
hot water (HTHW) system issue for Yokum Hall and the steps being taken to
address it.


Wilkins Mechanical has successfully installed the temporary heating boiler
to Yokum.  Regular campus operations can resume in Yokum starting Monday,
February 17th.  The temporary heating units outside of each ground floor
entrance will remain in place over the following week as a precaution.
These units will not be running unless we have an issue with the temporary
boiler.


A section of the podium outside Kehoe and Yokum is still currently without
heat and efforts continue to proceed to restore heating to the podium.  Our
dedicated grounds crew continues to actively clear this area and distribute
sand to maintain safety.  Please exercise caution when crossing this
portion of the podium.

Your patience and understanding during this time are greatly appreciated as
we work to resolve the issue as effectively as possible.
