[Important Information for Employees] Leadership Transition in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Dear Campus Community,

Effective immediately, Allison Heard will no longer be serving in the role
of Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and is no longer an
employee of SUNY Plattsburgh.

I will be meeting with the staff in the Office for Diversity, Equity, and
Inclusion tomorrow to talk through next steps and ensure continuity of the
important work being done in this area. Diversity, equity, and inclusion
are core principles to the work we do at SUNY Plattsburgh, and we look
forward to appointing our next Vice President for Diversity, Equity &
Inclusion.
