[Important Information for Employees] A Special Thank You

Dear Campus Community,

I want to extend a heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in this
year’s *Campus Out of the Darkness Walk to Prevent Suicide*.  We met our
goal of having 400 walkers of students, faculty, staff, and community
members!  As a campus we have so much to be proud of.

Your presence, support, and energy helped make this event a powerful
reminder that *we are never alone*, and that together, we can help create a
culture of care, connection, and hope.

Thanks to your participation, we were able to:

   - Raise awareness around mental health and suicide prevention & provide
   resources
   - Honor loved ones and friends we have lost and support those who
   continue to struggle
   - Raised over $7,000 to support the American Foundation for Suicide
   Prevention

Whether you walked, volunteered, shared your story, donated, or simply
showed up to support a friend—*you made a difference.  *

Let’s keep the conversation going and continue looking out for one another.
