[Important Information for Employees] Mandatory Title VI Training Deadline - 9/30/24

Per Chancellor John B. King, every faculty and staff member at System
Administration and on all 64 SUNY campuses are required to complete Title
VI training. This training emphasizes education on antisemitism,
Islamophobia, and other forms of discrimination and harassment. The
training underscores the need for campuses to prevent, investigate, and
respond to allegations of discrimination.

All faculty and staff are required to complete the Title VI online training
no later than Monday, September 30, 2024 and the campus is required to
report our compliance numbers to SUNY on October 1st.  At this time SUNY
Plattsburgh has a 76% compliance rate and we need your active participation
to reach a rate of 100%.  This training will take less than 30 minutes to
complete.

Accessing your Title VI SafeColleges Course Assignment:

-An email was sent to all @plattsburgh.edu users, with the subject: [Official]
SafeColleges Compliance Training Assignment. Click the link within the
email to login.

OR

-Visit the MyPlattsburgh Portal <https://www.plattsburgh.edu/portal/> and
click the icon on the main menu from the list of links on the left to login.

Select the course “SUNY Title VI Training” to begin.


Employees who do not have a dedicated computer or quiet space to meet their
training requirements and/or deadlines should speak with their supervisors
so that every effort can be made to support you.


Employees who need reasonable accommodations to meet training requirements
and/or deadlines, should speak with their supervisors or contact Human
Resource Services at hrs at plattsburgh.edu.
