Enabling Campus Heating Equipment



Dear Campus Community,

We would like to inform you that the Central Heating Plant is currently in
the process of enabling the heating systems in buildings on campus. Our
first priority is the Residence Halls, followed by the Academic and
Administrative Buildings. We aim to have all heating systems operational by
Monday, October 14th. We will continue to provide updates if we experience
any issues with meeting this goal.

Please note that we are addressing some challenges with the following
systems:

   -

   Beaumont Perimeter Radiation:  We are tempering outside ventilation air
   to provide relief as much as possible.
   -

   MacDonough Heating System:  Parts of this system are experiencing issues
   that we are working to resolve.
   -

   Hawkins Heating Hot Water Converter:  We are addressing a building
   controls issue.

We will continue to keep you updated on our progress and any potential
delays.
