Welcome to the first edition of *Data Matters*: Monthly Updates from the
Office of Institutional Effectiveness. Our goal is to keep you informed of
and engaged with data insights, resources, and tools to support the success
and continuous improvement of our SUNY Plattsburgh community.


Fall 2024 Census Data

As recently shared by President Enyedi, our official student headcount for
Fall 2024 is 4,541 students. More information about student enrollment and

We are excited to share that we have a number of new Student Success

Got Data? Series

We have hosted three Got Data? events and are looking forward to our fourth
and final Fall 2024 talk in December featuring Levi Martinez. This event
will be held in the Alumni Conference Room of the Angell College Center at
1pm on Thursday, December 12th. If you are interested in presenting at a

2025-2030 Campus Assessment Plan

We are pleased to announce that the Assessment Advisory Committee

has approved the 2025-2030 Campus Assessment Plan
<https://www.plattsburgh.edu/_documents/institutional-effectiveness/campus-assessment-plan-2025-2030.pdf>.
This plan will guide us through our next Middle States accreditation
process.

Surveys and Questionnaires

If you are interested in gathering information from students, faculty, or

(USS). OIE and USS are eager to assist with drafting, reviewing, and
scheduling the distribution of surveys as well as analyzing survey results.

Assessment Support

OIE is happy to work with academic departments, student support offices,
and all campus units to design assessment processes or evaluate existing
assessment efforts, including annual reports. Keep an eye out for training
workshops to be held in the Spring 2025 semester or contact
OIE at plattsburgh.edu to schedule a time to discuss your assessment needs and
goals.

If you would like assistance gaining access to data, identifying metrics to
use in an analysis, or creating report templates, you can submit a request
