[Important Information for Employees] Volunteer and Faculty Info for 12/14/24 Commencement

Dear Campus Community,


We look forward to celebrating graduates of the Class of 2024 on Saturday,
December 14 at 10:00 a.m. in the SUNY Plattsburgh Field House gymnasium.
This occasion provides a wonderful opportunity to reflect on and honor the
many accomplishments of our students.

Volunteers Needed

   -

   We are still seeking campus volunteers to help make this day a success.
   While tickets are not required for the ceremony, we are in need of ushers
   and other support roles to assist graduates, their families and additional
   guests. If you are available to volunteer, please reach out to Cherice
   Granger at grangecg at plattsburgh.edu at your earliest convenience.

Faculty and Staff

   -

   Faculty and staff who plan to walk in the ceremony should arrive in
   regalia no later than 9:15 a.m. You may gather downstairs, where you will
   be lined up and guided into the gymnasium.

   Faculty or staff members who are parents or guardians of a graduate and
   wish to present the diploma are encouraged to contact the Office of the
   President at president_office at plattsburgh.edu for more information.
