Dining Facility Project Ramping Up

With summer construction season right around the corner, the Capital
Planning Office has the following updates on the Dining Facilities Project

   -

   Contractor Information:
   1.
         1.

         MLB Construction.  This firm recently completed the Memorial Hall
         Project.
         1.

            MLB is fully aware of Quiet Week and understands the
            importance. Any activity will be extremely limited.
            -

   Construction Areas:
   1.
         1.

         Previous Subway/Griddles Venue: Halal Shack will be moving into
         this space. The contractor has been on campus reviewing the
space and will
         assist the College with moving some of the kitchen equipment
out into the
         back hallway for temporary storage. Safety barriers will be installed.
         Demolition will be starting this week with no interruptions
to the Burghy's
         Den or the Cardinal Cupboard.
         2.

               Target Completion Date: Opening Fall 2024
               2.

         Cardinal Market: Construction will begin immediately following
         Spring Commencement. Starbucks will be added into this space
to accompany
         Cardinal Market.
         2.
               1.

               Target Completion Date: Opening Fall 2024
               3.

         Sundowner:  Construction will begin immediately following Spring
         Commencement.
         2.
               1.

               Target Completion Date: Opening Spring 2025
               4.

         ACC Perimeter Activity:  There are several contractor areas that
         will be setup outside of the ACC.  Particularly, Amitie Plaza
will have a
         staging area setup to maintain supplies for the project along
the side of
         the building. No outside structures will be affected.  The
plan is for this
         area to be restored before the students return in August.
All construction
         activity is within the walls of the ACC.
