Thursday's Storm Impact to Campus
Last night much of the area experienced heavy rainfall and flash flooding.
Janitorial, Maintenance and Operations, and The Central Heating Plant have
been working on cleanup efforts across campus. At this time, these are the
known buildings that were impacted:
-
Sibley
-
Hawkins
-
Clinton - Elevator is currently offline
-
Myers
-
Kehoe
-
Ward
-
Hudson
-
Beaumont
-
Feinberg
-
Macdonough
-
Mason - A sinkhole has formed at the base of the exterior stairs heading
towards Rugar Street. This area has been cautioned off until a repair can
be made.
Our team is utilizing the stock of fans and dehumidifiers that we have,
focusing on the most impacted areas first. It is our goal to investigate
all buildings on campus to identify other water intrusions that might not
have been reported yet. If you see any signs of water within a building,
please call M&O at 518-564-5044 and report it.
Thank you,
