Dear Campus Community,

Beginning Monday, June 17, 2024, the Office of the President will return to
159 Hawkins Hall from our temporary relocation to Redcay, where we moved to
accommodate our Hawkins office renovations.

The newly updated Hawkins space has been reconfigured to improve workflow
and make the office more functional, with the last major changes dating
back to the 1990s. Recent modifications align with our commitment to
environmental sustainability and ensure a welcoming atmosphere that is
accessible and open to all.

Additionally, a dedicated space has been established to feature student
artwork and important pieces from the Plattsburgh State Art Museum (PSAM)
collection.

I am grateful for the thoughtful planning and talented work of SUNY
Plattsburgh’s Maintenance and Operations construction staff, who dedicated
many months to this project. I also thank the moving crew within
Maintenance and Operations as well as the staff in ITS and
Telecommunications, for ensuring that our work was able to continue without
interruption throughout this process. Their efforts have visually
transformed the Office of the President into a hub of productivity and
efficiency that celebrates the spirit and creativity of our campus.

Warm regards,

Dr. Alexander Enyedi
President
