Power Shut Down and Fire Watch

What will happen: Tuesday, July 9th, 2024, from approximately 7:00 - 9:00
AM the campus will go on Patrolled Fire Watch by University Police.

If you hear a local fire alarm going off in your building during this time
frame, please report to University Police ext.2022.


The Plan: As a result of the Parking Lot Project, Facilities, Maintenance,
& Operations departments will lose power to their buildings for
approximately two hours. This will effect our team from being able to
monitor the fire alarm system remotely. The phones in the buildings may
also experience interruptions.

If you experience a maintenance related emergency during this time, please
use the maintenanceandoperations at plattsburgh.edu email address as we will
monitor our emails closely.
