[Important Information for Employees] Voluntary Self Disclosure of a Disability - Executive Order 31

On July 27th, 2023, Governor Hochul signed Executive Order 31 and committed
New York State to becoming a model employer for people with disabilities.
This Executive Order directs state agencies and authorities to take several
steps to reduce, and eventually eliminate, the gap between working people
with disabilities and working people without disabilities.

SUNY System Administration has asked each campus to distribute the Voluntary
Self Disclosure of a Disability form <https://forms.office.com/g/XmCLDDjCg2>
to all employees.  The deadline to complete this form is within five (5)
days of distribution, or by February 25th at midnight.  This information is
anonymous and is sent directly to the NYS Chief Disability Office and
summary results will be shared with each campus contact.  Note that this is
intended to provide NYS with a baseline because this information has not
been tracked by the State before.
