[Important Information for Employees] American Flag Lowered to Half-Staff

Dear Campus Community,

Today, Governor Kathy Hochul directed that the American flag on all state
buildings be lowered to half-staff to honor the life and legacy of former
President Jimmy Carter, who passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024.

The American flags outside of Hawkins Hall and the Kehoe Administration
Building will remain lowered until further notice, offering an opportunity
to reflect on former President Carter's many decades of public service and
dedication to our country.
