[Important Information for Employees] Important Updates from President Enyedi: Vice President for Administration and Finance

Dear Campus Community,

I am writing to share some campus leadership changes associated with the
recent search for our next Vice President for Administration and Finance.

Our rigorous search process last fall and this spring brought five
candidates to campus, but did not yield a final appointment.

Accordingly, I am pleased to announce that Magen Renadette has accepted the
role of Interim Vice President for Administration and Finance, effective
April 16, 2024. We will launch a new search to permanently fill this role
in the Fall of 2025.

This decision was made in close consultation with Todd Moravec, who has
served in this role since 2022 and has expressed his desire to return to
his position as Director of Student Financial Services. As part of a campus
reorganization, Student Financial Services will now operate within the
Enrollment and Student Success division, and will report to Vice President
Karen McGrath.

Magen brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having served at SUNY
Plattsburgh for almost 8 years as Director of Budget and Financial
Reporting. Magen holds a B.S. in Accounting from Siena College and a
Masters in Business Administration from Union Graduate College, and has
worked as a senior auditor at KPMG, as a financial analyst at Union College
and served as CFO for Hospice of the North Country, all prior to coming to
SUNY Plattsburgh. I am confident that her experience and leadership will
serve our institution well during this transitional period.

I extend my deepest gratitude to Todd for his exceptional leadership over
the past two years. As Interim Vice President for Administration and
Finance, Todd has been instrumental in navigating numerous challenges and
ensuring the smooth operation of our campus. I ask that all on campus join
me in thanking him for his dedication, expertise, and unwavering commitment
to SUNY Plattsburgh.

I also wish to express my appreciation to the VP A&F search committee for
their diligent efforts, and to all the members of our campus community who
participated in interviews and meetings with the applicants. Your
contributions are invaluable as we strive to ensure that SUNY Plattsburgh
is led by the most capable and dedicated professionals. I look forward to
reenergizing this search next year.

Please join me in welcoming Magen as our new Interim Vice President for
Administration and Finance. I believe that Magen’s knowledge, capabilities
and commitment to SUNY Plattsburgh will serve us well in the months ahead.
