[Important Information for Employees] REMINDER | Volunteers Needed for Spring Commencement

Dear Campus Community,

A reminder that we are still in need of campus volunteers for each of the
three ceremonies on Saturday, May 18, but particularly at noon and 3 p.m.
Needs range from ticket processing to ushers and other support roles for
graduates, their families and other guests.

Please share with us your available times for volunteering to Cherice
Granger at grangecg at plattsburgh.edu. We appreciate the assistance on behalf
of our students -- and especially the 14 employees who are signed up to
assist in all three.

We look forward to celebrating graduates of the Class of 2024 in the Field
House gymnasium. The three ceremonies this spring are as follows:

   - 9 a.m.: School of Arts and Sciences
   - Noon : School of Business and Economics
   - 3 p.m.: School of Education, Health and Human Services


Faculty and staff may walk in regalia and should arrive no later than
one-half hour before any ceremony in which you are participating. You may
gather downstairs and will be directed for walking into the gymnasium. You
may also volunteer in any ceremonies where you are not walking.

Any faculty or staff member who is a parent or guardian of a graduate and
is interested in presenting the diploma should contact the Office of
the President at president_office at plattsburgh.edu for details. Other
