[Important Information for Employees] Kehoe Building Update

Dear Campus Community,

Floors 5 through 10 of the Kehoe Administration building will be open for
occupancy tomorrow, Monday, Sept. 25th, 2023. All critical systems impacted
by last Monday’s flood are now operational and safe: water, electricity,
fire alarms, and elevators. Therefore, employees whose offices are on
floors 5 through 10 should report to their regular Kehoe office locations
tomorrow.

Signage will be posted to direct everyone to enter and exit the building
using the first floor entrance located behind Kehoe, under the podium, and
then take the elevators up from there. Please note that elevators will be
shared with contractors who continue to do cleanup and repairs.

Floors 1 through 4 of the building will remain closed for ongoing
assessment and restoration. The timeline for full restoration and
re-occupancy of those floors is currently unknown but anticipated to take
several months.

The following offices have now moved to their temporary locations and are
able to provide in-person services:



   -

   Admissions (admissions at plattsburgh.edu) - Redcay 2 / reception desk on
   Redcay 1
   -

   Registrar (registrar at plattsburgh.edu) - Ward 220-242
   -

   Student Financial Services (sfs at plattsburgh.edu) - ACC 204 (pubic
   facing) / ACC 300


We are unable to determine, at this time, how long these temporary office
relocations will be in place. We greatly appreciate the understanding and
patience of all who are sharing spaces and assisting with accommodations.
We know that this is a difficult time for all involved, and we are
committed to returning all Kehoe offices as soon and as safely as possible.


Once again, we thank you for your continued patience and for your ongoing
efforts to maintain the operational needs of our campus.
