Dear Campus Community,


Today, we express our heartfelt appreciation for the unsung heroes of our
campus - our dedicated custodial staff.


As we celebrate Custodian Appreciation Day, it is important to recognize
the tireless efforts of our custodians who work diligently to ensure that
our campus remains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all.


This hard work often goes unnoticed, but it is their dedication that allows
us to focus on our academic pursuits, participate in clubs, programs and
athletics, and work in our offices and classrooms. Their attention to
cleanliness, sanitation, and overall campus upkeep plays a crucial role in
maintaining the well-being of our entire community.


To our entire custodial team, on behalf of the university community, I
extend my deepest gratitude for your efforts, your commitment to
excellence, and your invaluable contributions to our campus. Your work is
integral to our mission, and we are grateful for all that you do. I also
want to acknowledge the resolution that was prepared by our Student
Association in recognition of Custodian Appreciation Day (see attachment).


I ask that you actively reach out to members of our custodial team today,
to thank them for all they do every day of the year.
