Dear Campus Community,

Today, as we observe Veterans Day, I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude
to all who have served our nation with unwavering dedication and sacrifice.

Today is a powerful reminder of the selfless dedication, courage, and
sacrifice of the many brave individuals, and their families, who sacrificed
their lives in an effort to preserve our rights and freedom.

At SUNY Plattsburgh, we recognize the profound contributions of our veteran
students and employees. Their diverse experiences and perspectives greatly
enrich the intellectual discourse and cultural environment of our campus.
We value their resilience and their many contributions, and we recognize
the essential role they play in shaping and strengthening our community.

As we collectively commemorate Veterans Day, let us not only express our
appreciation, but also reaffirm our commitment to supporting our veteran
students and employees as they pursue their academic and professional
endeavors. Their spirit, dedication and resilience inspire us all.
