[Important Information for Employees] Gratitude for Maintenance and Operations and University Police

Dear Campus Community,

I want to express my gratitude and appreciation to two groups of campus
staff for their incredible work over the weekend: Maintenance Operations
employees and University Police.

In response to our ten-inch snowfall Friday night into Saturday, SUNY
Plattsburgh's Maintenance and Operations snow team began working at 3:00 AM
Saturday morning, and continued throughout the day, to ensure that all
parking areas and pathways were clear and passable.

Additionally, University Police prepared for increased needs for service in
response to numerous St. Patrick's Day celebrations in and around the
Plattsburgh area by proactively staffing additional officers and by
coordinating
with local law enforcement. University Police were also visible all day
Saturday, both on and off campus, and remained available to assist the City
Police Department, as always.



This incredible, collective effort exemplifies our campus commitment to
foster and support student success and safety every day at every level.

We could not do what we do without each and every one of you. Thank you
again!
