[Important Information for Employees] Verizon Wireless Regional and Nationwide outages

Campus Community,

We received reports Verizon Wireless is experiencing a widespread outage
that affects calling to landlines. Callers using Verizon Wireless may also
experience a variety of error messages when calling a 10-digit number. If
you get a call from a Verizon cell user, your campus phone may ring but you
won't be able to communicate with the person on the other end. This is the
scenario we are seeing "If you call your campus extension from a Verizon
wireless cell line it will ring your campus phone but on your cell phone
you will get a recording stating  - We are unable to complete your call-
and you will not be able to communicate between the two phones.

This is not a problem with our campus phone system, please call your cell
carrier for updates on the outage.
