[Important Information for Employees] New Mental Health Resources Available

[Student Health & Counseling Center]

The Student Health & Counseling Center would like to announce new services
that are available to SUNY Plattsburgh students through BHS’s Student
Assistance Program. Free, confidential services: mental health counseling,
financial and legal consultations are available 24/7, 365 days a year with
licensed/credentialed professionals.  This valuable service directly
supports the pillar of ‘Stabilizing Student Success’ within the Plattsburgh
Next initiative.



We would greatly appreciate your help and partnership in informing our
students about this program.  If you are able, please consider taking a
brief moment to mention it during your class times or when meeting with
students as we start off the semester.  For guidance in referring students,
please call BHS’s toll-free number: 800-327-2251. Students can sign up for
services themselves online or over the phone. It takes only 10 to 15
minutes to establish services. Please see attached information.  Thank you

wellness of our students!
