[Important Information for Employees] The Death of Judith Pelletier Hallett

Dear Campus Community,

We are saddened to inform you of the death of former campus nurse Judith
(Pelletier) Hallett, who died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023 following a long
battle with cancer. She was 64.

Mrs. Hallett joined the staff in the Student Health and Counseling Center
in August 2007 as an hourly employee. A year later, she took an annual
position as a nurse 1. It was while working as a nurse on staff that she
met Walter Hallett, who worked next door as University Police office
manager. Judith left her position in December 2010 and the couple moved to
Florida. They were married in 2011.

Services will be private in her home state of Vermont at a later date.
