[Important Information for Employees] YuJa video platform now available!

Colleagues,

I'm pleased to announce that *YuJa* has arrived!

*YuJa is a video platform* that allows faculty to host video content and
record video lectures. It includes inspiring capabilities to enhance
collaboration, content management, and accessibility, and promises to be an
important asset for curriculum deployment and student success. This
platform will also be used to share videos of our campus events and success
stories!

YuJa can be used as a stand-alone tool or within your BrightSpace course
sites. Use it to create, upload, and share your videos and other media. You
can also auto-caption your videos for accessibility. In fact, Yuja *meets
ADA compatibility standards *for video content. All you need to do is
record using Yuja or import other recordings into your media library,
then request
auto-captioning.

YuJa includes an online easy-to-use video editor and a mobile app.
Example videos
include:

   - classroom lectures
   - meetings and presentations
   - screen-capture recordings
   - capturing campus events or success stories
   - and any other videos for teaching, training, and information.

Because *Yuja is integrated with Brightspace*, it's easy for you to add
videos to your courses. It's also easy for students to view the videos
directly in Brightspace. Videos can be made available in a specific
location within a course, via a course channel (gallery), or both.

YuJa is also fully* integrated with Zoom*. All Zoom recordings are sent
directly to the "My Zoom Recordings" folder in your YuJa media library. No
action is required on your part. NOTE: Zoom recordings are no longer sent
to the "Zoom Recordings" folder in Google Drive folders.

*YuJa is available for faculty and staff*. Students can also login and view
the videos you post via BrightSpace or direct links; however, they won't be
able to post content just yet. That will happen in a later phase of the
project.
