[Important Information for Employees] The Death of Dr. Youngsik Jang

Dear Members of our Campus Community,

We just learned of the death of Dr. Youngsik Jang, 90, who died Thursday,
April 20, 2023 at Meadowbrook Healthcare in Plattsburgh.

Dr. Jang joined the faculty as an assistant professor of economics in
September 1968. He was promoted to associate professor in September 1972
and full professor in September 1981. Dr. Jang retired in fall 2008.

Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Philadelphia, Penn. Arrangements
have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home
