[Important Information for Employees] Changes in the College's Admissions Office

[Enrollment and Student Success]

Colleagues,

I am writing to share some changes in the college's admissions office as
we begin the fall recruiting season for the incoming 2023 class.

Growing and sustaining our enrollment is a critical pillar of our
Plattsburgh Next strategic plan and is foundational to our success as an
institution. As such, our admissions operation is being divided into two
distinctive areas - graduate admissions and undergraduate admissions - both
reporting directly to the vice president for enrollment and student success.

Troy Joseph, who currently serves as associate director for admissions, has
been named interim director of undergraduate admissions and will lead the
campus' undergraduate recruitment team. This includes first-year, transfer,
and readmit admissions.  Troy has more than a decade of experience with
graduate and undergraduate admissions, as well as having played a critical
role in our admissions technology development and management.

Carrie Woodward, who currently serves as the director of admissions, will
now serve as the director of graduate admissions. Graduate programs will be
a vital part of our overall efforts in meeting enrollment targets.  With
her many years of experience in recruitment, and her knowledge of student
market trends, Carrie brings a strategic perspective to how the college can
best leverage graduate programs for enrollment growth.

Undergraduate Admissions will continue to be located on the first and
second floors of Kehoe.  Graduate Admissions will be located on the sixth
floor.  Both departments will utilize 518-564-2040 for their main telephone
line.

I appreciate the work of both of these professionals in leading these
critical areas and encourage each of you to support them and their teams in
their work as we move toward 2023.
