[Important Information for Employees] SUNY Plattsburgh Stands in Solidarity with Ukraine

Dear SUNY Plattsburgh Community,

As a campus, we stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine who continue
to lose their freedom, their rights and their lives. Beginning tonight and
running through the end of the month, Hawkins Hall will be illuminated in
blue and yellow lights, to represent the colors of the Ukrainian flag and
serve as a continual reminder of the humanitarian crisis being created by
the unprovoked attack by Russia.

Please make an effort to see the lights in the evening, and keep all who
are suffering in your thoughts as they continue to fight for their survival
and the core democratic values of their country.

Many thanks to our Maintenance and Operation staff for coordinating this
effort so quickly, to ensure that SUNY Plattsburgh continues to serve as a
messenger of support and advocacy in our community.
