Dear Faculty and Staff Colleagues,

Today, on National Employee Appreciation Day, I want to recognize and thank
each and every one of you for your countless contributions to SUNY
Plattsburgh. During yet another unprecedented pandemic year, your
continued, collective commitment to the impact and success of our campus is
what truly makes us a student-centered institution of academic excellence.

As we pivoted out of remote learning last Fall and into the ever-evolving
guidance around vaccinations, testing, and operational changes that have
allowed us to return to campus, you have remained an essential source of
stability, support and inspiration for our students and fellow colleagues.

I am so grateful for all you do, both on- and off-campus, inside and
outside of our classrooms, offices and workspaces, to show the world what
it truly means to be a Cardinal. Each of you represents the best that
higher education has to offer, and I am so proud to be a part of this great
college.
