[Important Information for Employees] Campus Message from President Enyedi

Upon hearing of the tragic homicide of SUNY Potsdam student Elizabeth
Howell, we send our deepest condolences to her family, friends, classmates
and the SUNY Potsdam community.  We also send our gratitude to the multiple
law enforcement agencies who continue to investigate this case in an effort
to restore a sense of campus and public safety.

Events of this nature are incredibly traumatizing for all of us, and our
campus will continue to prioritize the health and well-being of all
students, faculty and staff.

Please know that counseling services are available on campus by calling the
Student Health and Counseling Center at 518-564-3086 Monday-Friday. Group
support will also be available on Monday, February 21, 2022, from 12 noon
to 1 pm in the Conference Room at the Student Health and Counseling Center.

On-campus students who may be impacted by this news and in need of more
immediate assistance are encouraged to reach out to their Community
Directors or Community Advocates for advice and resources.
