[Important Information for Employees] Campus Message from VP of Administration & Finance

Dear Campus Community,



            As I approach my last day in Cardinal Country, I want to thank
each of you for a terrific five years. It has been a true pleasure to work
with people who care so deeply about our students and our community.
Leading the division of Administration and Finance has been an honor. I
want to thank each and every member of our team for the impact they have
made to our campus and to me on a personal level.



            Over these last five years, our team has accomplished several
key initiatives that I want to recognize them for:

·         *COVID-19 Policies & Planning:* A&F worked tirelessly to keep the
College community safe and healthy during the pandemic, including the
development and implementation of a plan to return to campus for Fall 2020.

·         *Financial Stability Plan:* Our plan was developed and
implemented to provide clear and consistent transparency to the campus
community on our financial position.

·         *Institutional Gift Aid:* $6 million per year for a total of $30
million for the benefit of our students.

·         *Regional Procurement Services:* We merged procurement
departments with Potsdam to provide seamless automated requisition and
invoicing.

·         *Capital Construction Projects:* We completed renovations of
Clinton Dining Hall and multiple residence halls. And we made excellent
progress on the projects at Memorial Hall and the Field House.

·         *HR Innovations:* We created a new Recruitment Guide and the
implementation of the new HR Classification Services.

·         *Administration & Finance Divisional Work:* We created a new
vision, mission and values for the division. We created and completed a
divisional strategic plan. And we hosted our annual picnic and honored team
members with service awards.

I would also like to extend a special thank you to my colleagues Ethel
Facteau, Michele Toth and Kim Hartshorn for the years of collaboration.



And another special thank you to the leaders of the A&F Division - Magen
Renadette, Sean Dermody, Sarah Reyell, Tyson Moulton, Mike Simpson,
Catherine Keleher and Todd Moravec.



You are a strong and talented team. I know you will continue to do great
things for the campus.



Thank you, SUNY Plattsburgh. I will miss you, our students and the
community - but not the cold! Good luck this semester and keep in touch.
