As promised upon learning of the May 3, 2021 death of Dr. Charles Simpson,
professor emeritus of sociology and criminal justice, at his home in
Burlington, Vt., we are sharing with you a formal obituary with complete
details, including information about an Oct. 2 memorial service being held
in Burlington outside the Friends Meeting House, 173 N. Prospect St.
beginning at 2 p.m.
